Fibometry, the 3D printing brand owned by New Era Materials, will take part in the XXXIV International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), held on September 8–11, 2026, at Targi Kielce. This marks another meeting this year between Fibometry and the defense community – following the Poland Security Congress in Jasionka and Defence24 Days in Warsaw – now it’s time for the largest domestic trade show for the military industry.
MSPO 2026 – When and Where
The XXXIV edition of MSPO will take place on September 8–11, 2026, at Targi Kielce. It is the most important event of its kind in Poland and one of the most significant in Central and Eastern Europe for manufacturers, integrators, and suppliers of technology for the military, border guard, and uniformed services. Fibometry will appear at the exhibition together with New Era Materials, a manufacturer of composite materials, at stand 3-D08.
Why Is the Defense Industry Interested in 3D Printing?
Modern armed forces need speed of response and independence from long supply chains. Dual-use 3D printing technology addresses these needs on several levels at once:
- shorter delivery times for spare parts and specialized components,
- on-demand production instead of physically storing subassemblies,
- design flexibility – geometries impossible to achieve with conventional methods,
- independence from foreign suppliers and the development of a domestic, European supply chain.

Fibometry as a Digital Parts Warehouse
Instead of keeping thousands of physical components in stock, production files can be stored digitally and printed exactly when needed. This is a concept Fibometry is developing based on fully Polish technology and Polish manufacturing, contributing to the development of an independent European supply chain for defense.
At MSPO 2026 we will show how this model works in practice in manufacturing:
- housings for communication and optoelectronic equipment,
- prototypes and replacement parts for military vehicles,
- components for drones (UAVs) and unmanned systems,
- production tooling parts and workshop tools.
DMLS Metal Printing – Precision for Special Applications
One of the key technologies visitors to our stand will see is DMLS/SLM metal printing (Direct Metal Laser Sintering). It allows the manufacture of precise, fully functional components with high thermal and mechanical resistance from alloys such as Inconel, tool steels, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys – materials of key importance to the defense, aerospace, and automotive industries.
Polymer Printing – From Prototype to Series Production
Alongside metal, we will present our full portfolio of polymer technologies at the exhibition:
- SLS – Selective Laser Sintering – durable parts made from engineering materials, including flame-retardant versions,
- MJF – fast production of functional parts with repeatable quality,
- FDM/FFF – production tooling resistant to harsh working environments,
- SLA/DLP and PJ/MJM – high accuracy of detail and finish.
Each of these paths can be complemented with CAD design and a prototyping phase, and for larger volumes – with series production under an OEM contract manufacturing model.
New Era Materials at MSPO 2026 – Composites for Defense
Fibometry, a New Era Materials brand, will appear at the exhibition alongside composite materials offered under the New Era Materials name – the company will present its own NEMpreg prepreg materials, along with NEMplate boards, NEMsandwich sandwich panels, and NEMcomposites special components made from them. These are solutions used, among other things, in lightweight structural elements for drones, military vehicle components, and communication equipment housings.
