Yes.
We will try to find an optimum solution once we have known with the details of a project.
You are welcome to contact us.
The maximum dimension of a single print depends on the chosen technology and a 3D printer. This is related to the dimensions of the working chamber. It is worth mentioning that prints can be combined to obtain larger projects such as machine mock-ups or architectural models.
Examples of working chamber sizes for SLS technology are 320 x 320 x 590 mm and for a chamber for MJF technology are 380 x 284 x 380 mm.
Feel free to contact us via the contact form.
Minimum dimensions may vary depending on the technology selected. You will find more on this topic under the “Technologies” tab.
Send us a specific enquiry via the contact form and we will help you determine the feasibility of your project.
Yes, it is possible to print objects with movable parts.
Many 3D printing technologies can produce parts with movable parts. Our engineers will help refine the solution by selecting the best 3D printing technology for your project.

In 3D printing, post-processing is the step of processing printed objects to improve the quality, appearance and functionality of the final product. Post-processing involves a variety of steps, depending on the printing technology, the materials used for the print and the expectations of the final product. The basic post-processing is the cleaning of the details after printing (removal of support structures or uncooked powder), colouring, smoothing, varnishing. We can also combine prints to create larger structures. We then develop special solutions tailored to your project.
Files for 3D printing are usually prepared in a storage format that contains information about the geometry of the object and its properties. The most common file formats used in 3D printing are .step, .igs, .stl.
When preparing a file for 3D printing, it is important to ensure that the file format you choose is supported by the 3D printer that will be printing the model. Most 3D printers accept STL files, but it is always a good idea to send the file to us via our contact form to check that the file is saved correctly.

At Fibometry ee carry out 3D printing using a variety of technologies and materials. The most popular technologies are:
FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling)
It is one of the most widely used 3D printing technologies. In FDM, plastic filaments are gradually heated and applied layer by layer to apply for a three-dimensional object.
SLA (Stereolithography)
In SLA 3D printing technology, UV light is used to cure the liquid resin, layer by layer, creating a three-dimensional object.
SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)
In SLS technology, the laser beam fuses the powder particles together, building up the model layer by layer. The most commonly used material is PA12, but also PA11, TPU, PAGF, PAFR.
SLM (Selective Laser Melting)
Selective Laser Melting technology allows the production of precise and homogeneous components from metal powders.
DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP technology is nothing more than the selective layer-by-layer curing of photopolymer resins with UV light. DLP vs SLA In SLA, 3D printing is based on exposing successive print dots using a laser beam, whereas in DLP, the entire layer is immediately exposed to UV light.
MJF (Multi Jet Fusion)
3D printing technology was patented by HP. It involves bonding plastic powders together using a moving, high-precision thermal head and print heads that apply two types of agents to aid the printing process.
Each of these methods has its advantages and disadvantages. The application depends on the needs of a particular project.
3D printing uses a variety of materials that offer almost unlimited possibilities. Their diversity makes it possible to meet numerous – sometimes very specific – expectations of manufacturers in various industries. 3D printing allows the control of shapes, colours, properties and structures, making it possible to print the planned effects at an affordable price and in a short time. The most common materials used in 3D printing include plastic, metal, powders, resins, carbon fibre, graphene, nitinol and paper.
Materials used in the various 3D printing technologies:
SLS – PA12, PAGF, PAFR
MJF – PA12, TPU, PA11
FDM – PLA, ABS, PEEK, PACF, PAGF
SLA – GRAY PRO, RIGID, CLEAR
Please feel free to contact us at https://fibometry.com/kontakt/ to select the right material for your project.
Yes, 3D printed products are durable, however, their durability can vary depending on the geometry of the model and the material used for printing, as well as the intensity of use.
Choosing the right material and printing parameters can significantly affect the durability of a final product. Many of modern materials used in 3D printing, such as ABS, PLA, nylon or resins, are very durable and long-lasting. Our company takes care of the quality and durability of our 3D prints by using high-quality materials and the right print parameter settings.
If you have any questions or need detailed information on the sustainability of 3D printed products, feel free to contact our team for professional advice and technical support.
Yes, the materials used for 3D printing are safe for health as long as they are used according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and processed properly.
Most 3D printing materials such as PLA, ABS or PETG are developed with user safety in mind. However, there are also specialised materials that are designed for medical applications or skin contact. For prints that will come into contact with food or the body, it is advisable to choose suitable materials that are certified safe for this type of application. As a 3D printing company, we take care to select high-quality materials that meet the highest safety standards.
We also encourage our customers to familiarise themselves with the materials and follow the recommendations for their use to ensure safety for both users and the environment.

3D printing typically uses STL or STEP/STP file formats. STL and STEP/STP file formats contain information about an object’s geometry, such as shape and dimensions. These files can be generated by various 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Catia or Siemens NX.
Regardless of the format, it is important that the file contains a solid model that is free of holes or other errors that may affect print quality. During the preparation of the quote, we analyse the submitted 3D model for its correctness and printability.
Contact us to verify correct file preparation for 3D printing.
